Good potential here. I wonder what moral you're working toward? I could imagine several different options, and which one you pick could drive the story one way or the other. I also think it would be interesting to play into the idea that Steeky is a blob like creature. I suggest really leaning into that idea. Like, what special obstacles would a blob encounter that regular human children wouldn't? Keep it up!
