This seems like a great first act with good depth perception in the drawing which really shows how this man is very serious about his job, although I don't get why it makes him angry at his mom? Does it have to do with him not finding a job? does his mom get mad at him or something similar? Great story idea but maybe go more into depth about how his mom is related to him getting rejected.
