What I found most interesting about your story is that the crisis for your character is a part of everyone's daily lives as well, all social media stopping for good. It made me interested in learning about how the other characters will act in your story and how Leo dealed with the people who didn't accept him, how he got over his fear (I feel like you glazed over this last part).
