I love your idea of a character being a clown/jester despite them being scared and nervous. As they are a mini jester, it makes me wonder what this other character as a prankster does to prevent them from having their quiet environment.

So, does the other clown character drag them along on their pranks and escapades? What's Ali's ideal "calm" environment? Do they have any belongings that they value? Will the pickpocket clown take it? Do they want to stop the other clown from pickpocketing others? Can humans see them? Anyways, very solid.
