MM—yEs! I love when stories play with the concept of identical copies. That's probably the same reason why doppelgängers are so interesting to people. Is it an exact copy? Like, are the people exactly the same? Is the history the same? Does someone from our planet end up discovering this copy? What happens when or if they do? Next—it's cut off—but I'm gonna guess your idea was "what if there was a planet where humans went extinct?" In which case, I'm all about it. The concept of extinction is so enjoyable—er—well—it's not—but as an idea it's kinda fun. So, I'm assuming this is planet is different from Earth? And, do people from Earth ever discover it and the remnants of the society? How did the humans who used to be there get there? Which came first, the humans that came there are the humans on Earth? What drove them extinct? How advanced was the society before extinction?

Wish I could hear your second idea, but it was cutoff. I'm intrigued by the copy of the planet and wonder who was allowed to live on it or would it stay pristine and only for non-humans? Could humans observe how much better it was without us? How was this copy born? How does it differ from our planet? So cool!
